SCHOOL UNIFORM :
- 1. Every student must wear a clean uniform daily.
- 2. Each student will have a uniform as follows :
Play House to Preparatory : grey t-shirt, maroon shorts, white socks, black shoes.
Boys : Light Grey half sleeve shirt with H.A. monogram. Dark grey shorts and dark grey pant and dark grey tie (for Sr. Classes) and Black shoes with lace.
Girls : Light Grey half sleeve shirt with H.A. monogram. Dark grey frock for K.G. Section. Box Plete Skirt (Class III onwards) and Black ballerina type school shoes with 1 inch heel. White socks calf length & black shoes should be worn regularly to school. Plain grey pullover or Black Blazer (Class V onwards) with HA monogram for winter. Belt with HA logo can be obtained from School.
- 3. On PT days, a student must wear PT T-Shirt as per their allotted House Colour with black Track Pant with White Keds.
- 4. During winter, girls from classes Play House to IV may wear grey leggings and girls from Classes V to XII may wear white STOCKINGS.
- 5. Pants and skirts should not be worn below the waist. Shirts should be properly tucked in. Students who are not properly dressed will be sent back home.
- 6. Boys should keep their hair short and trimmed. Indecent hairstyles are not permitted. Girls must come to school in neat hairstyles. Long hair must be tied into two horse tails or plaits. Only black hairclips, black hair bands are allowed.
- 7. Spikes, long side burns, coloured and streaked hair is not allowed in school.
- 8. Students are not permitted to wear any makeup or jewellery except a pair of simple ear studs. The school will not be responsible for the loss of any jewellery worn in contravention of this rule.
- 9. Nails should be kept trimmed and short. Nailpolish is not allowed.
- 10. Wearing mehendi is strictly prohibited. In case of religious compulsion prior written approval must be obtained from the school authority, for the child to be allowed to attend school with mehendi.
- 11. The school uniform is to be worn only in school and school related functions. If a student is found at any other place in school uniform, the same will be considered as a serious breach of discipline and will be dealt strictly.
- 12. All books should be covered with covers bearing the name of the school and all exercise books must be school exercise books.
- 13. Each boy must have a copy of the school diary and must bring it to school daily. Losing the school diary is serious fault.
INSTRUCTION TO GUARDIANS :–
- 1. Parents of classes Play House to IV must carry the guardians copy of the Identity Card or the Fees Book (till such time the I-Card is made available) at the time of collecting their child.
- 2. Parents of classes Play House to IV must collect their wards on time to avoid inconvenience to the school.
- 3. Absent notification to be given in the diary page whenever a child is absent and signed by the class teacher. If the child is absent for three consecutive days, absent letter / medical certificate need to be provided addressed to Administrator / Head Master.
- 4. A Child affected with infections disease must complete the quarantine period before joining the school. He / She must submit a fit certificate by the doctor to attend the normal classes.
- 5. No child is permitted to come to school only to appear for an examination and there after allowed to leave. If a child is fit to attend the examination, he / she will be expected to stay for complete duration of school hours.
- 6. If a child is unwell, he/she should not be sent to school under any circumstances. Appointment of doctors must not be made during school hours.
- 7. School diary must be sent to school regularly and the diary must be checked by the parents everyday.
- 8. Mobile Phones or any kind of e-gadgets are not allowed in school. If found, it will be confiscated and will be returned after the end of the academic year.
- 9. No parents are allowed inside the classroom under any circumstances.
DISCIPLINE :
- 1. Students must speak only in English inside the school campus. Any child found speaking in vernacular will be penalized by deducting marks from their examination.
- 2. School property damaged or destroyed by any student, will be required to paid fully in cash.
- 3. Pupils are expected to address to all members of the staff with respect and politeness.
- 4. Attendance on the last working day and first working day before and after a long vacation is compulsory.
- 5. Students are not allowed to chew gums inside the school campus.
- 6. Any sort or inflammable object must not be brought to school. Students bringing the same will be dealt strictly.
- 7. Cycles must be parked in an orderly manner and kept locked.
- 8. Use of ABUSIVE AND SLANG LANGUAGE is not allowed inside the school campus.
- 9. Students are expected to keep the classroom and campus neat and clean.
- 10. Students resorting to unfair means during examination, will have their marks cancelled for the particular exam.
- 11. The school curriculum is devised in such a way that all round development of the child is achieved. Every child must participate in the different co-curricular and extra-curricular activities organized by the school on regular basis.
- 12. Irregular attendance, disobedience, bad conduct or sickness liable to the injurious to other students justifies dismissal.
These Rules are in addition to the Rules and Regulations mentioned elsewhere.
